If you are interested in ecological building techniques and building with earth materials, Cob in Cornwall are the people to ask. Young, enthusiastic and full of energy, Cob in Cornwall have found public acclaim not only through their building projects, but also for their publications on the subject. Two years ago, we designed, illustrated and laid out their first book, which went into reprint within the first year.

More recently, we designed and illustrated their second-in-series book which was published in May this year by Green Books. The focus of this publication are all aspects of natural finishes including lime and earth finishes, Adobe, Marmarino, Shikkui, Taldelact, Litema and more. This highly illustrated book is fast becoming a reference work on the subject and links to a resource website www.naturalbuildingresources.com which we also designed.
