We are currently working on artist Felix Packer's website and have been so impressed with his woodcuts to make them the theme for this season's header pictures across our website.
Felix works from his studio in Falmouth, and you can find his work dotted across Cornwall, from the Eden Project to the homes of many art lovers. He uses a wide range of media; from pen and ink to water colours and acrylic, wood and lino cuts, mosaics, custom furniture, wood sculpture and more. Wood cuts are a particular favourite and his prints range from 10 x10cm to 1.6x 2 metres.
Felix sells limited edition prints and also works on commissions. If you would like to contact him before his website is up-and-running, we'd be delighted to forward your enquiry.

They say that plumbers have leaking taps at home, and cobblers holes in their shoes. It was starting to feel a bit like this with our own website. But we have had another very good year, which means that we have been really busy and just haven’t had the time to develop our own site.
However, we got there in the end, and here it is – relaunched just in time to post it with this year’s animated Christmas card - Season’s Greetings!

We have just started working on a new R&D brochure for the CUC that celebrates the success of the Research and Development fund.
CTD recently completed a wide range of promotional materials for the CUC, including a redesign of their website, brochure and exhibition stands.

Following the work we undertook for the College to implement their new visual identity in 2005, we have now been instructed to implement the changes resulting out of the merger with Dartington College. In 2005, the institution became a fully fledged University, which was an occasion for a comprehensive review and rebrand. Since then, the College has continued to growand we have been supplying them with design as one of their main providers.
The current project includes the design of the College’s revised Corporate Identity and interactive Style Guides, as well as printed materials which are required for the changeover.

CTD has supported Falmouth School for several years and has recently increased its sponsorship of design consultation and services. We have also works with groups of students at the school and have nowbeen awarded the Investors in Work Related & Enterprise Learning Certificate.
Community schools have similar needs to other larger organisations with regard to visual identity and information design, yet little budget is available for this vital aspect of communication. We feel that it is a worthwhile – and satisfying – cause to support. We are currently investigating and planning a comprehensive upgrading of the School’s website and review of printed materials.

Our own image library continues to grow and has just reached the 8,000 images mark. The collection includes a large number of photographs from in and around Cornwall, with a particular focus on nature photography. The library also contains a growing number of illustrations and vintage copyright free material. This resource gives us a competitive edge over other studios who may have to buy in images from expensive sources.
We are planning an online gallery to showcase these images. Watch this space!
