Danilo, who really doesn't like to speak about himself in third person, was born in Italy and unexpectedly lived in Matera until the age of 18 with his parents, toy shop owners.

Living all his childhood amongst toys he would soon find an alternative recreational device that could take all his spare time: a 386dx computer.
This new interest would later lead him to apply for an art degree after finding out that computer science was too much about numbers and not very much about making things.

After his graduation in 2007 he started looking for a place similar to San Francisco, where he spent a good amount of his best time, a town with nice weather and industrious crazy people.

He finally landed in Cornwall at Christian Topf Design in May 2008 where he seems to have found an answer to his wishes (a part from the weather of course).
