We work very closely with our clients, something we can do as a small team, thus obviating the need for intermediary account handlers. Each project is allocated a dedicated leader who will look after the client throughout the duration of the project.
To ensure efficient delivery of all our projects, we have developed our own structured design process which follows the following underlying pattern:
The brief – framing the project
The brief is all about establishing the parameters and scope of each individual project and is usually the starting point. The client may already have a clear idea of what is needed, but the design process may also reveal a better approach for the anticipated goal.
Research – the heart of the matter
It's important to build each project on a firm foundation of facts and undertanding of its context. Exploring backgrounds and underlying issues help us understand the need of the client, their target audiences and the market in which they operate. The outcome of these investigations inform our proposal and design solutions.
Ideas – the vital spark
It usually requires many different ideas to find the one that fulfills all the required criteria and the best one often comes from the most unexpected place. Generating ideas means lateral thinking, challenging the imagination and exploring new angles and means of delivery.
The proposal – maturing the concept and ideas
Finding unique solutions is rarely the product of one person's work; sharing ideas, discussing issues and evolving criteria amongst our team and with the client is often the best way to evolve a project. We then distill the best ideas into our proposal.
Implementation – making it all happen
It is one thing to decide on what the outome should be, and quite another to make it all happen. Production is as important to the success of a project as the original idea. With years of experience behind us, we are experts in making sure that each step is executed with precision and care, which ensures the successfull metamorphosis from concept to finished product.
Follow up – seeing it through
Follow up is all about monitoring outcome and making sure the project achieved what it was originally intended to do. This, in turn, may inform future projects and build foundations upon which successful brands grow.
