About us

The studio

Christian Topf Design (CTD) is an independent graphic design studio based in Falmouth, Cornwall. We specialise in brand creation and management, printed publications, web design, advertising, exhibition design, interiors, signage and other aspects of graphic design. 

We feel that personal contact is essential to good working relationships and we tend to work closely with our clients to achieve unique and effective outcomes. Our client’s organisations vary widely in background and size and we welcome enquiries from anyone with interesting projects.

CTD was established in 1991, and incorporated as Christian Topf Design Ltd in 2007. The studio and registered office are at 65 Marlborough Road, Falmouth, TR11 3LL and the Company Registration Number is 6156068.

Project management

Each project is managed by a dedicated project manager who is also the lead designer of the project. The project manager coordinates all aspects of the project including client contact, leadership of the team where applicable and supervision of external suppliers. 

Our design services

CTD has a broad range of experience in most areas of graphic design with both a local and national client base. We are happy to supply most aspects of graphic design, including the creation of visual identities, brand development and management, design for print, website and digital design, advertising promotions and campaigns, aspects of marketing, exhibition design, wayfinding and signage. 

We usually supply an all-inclusive service including print, website build, production, manufacture and installation where applicable. However, we are also equally happy to supply design services only. 

With a history in publishing, the studio still maintains a significant share of traditional paper-based publications which run in parallel with other more contemporary forms of publishing. However, over the years, CTD has designed and built many custom websites as part of their overall portfolio, including bespoke content management systems, e-commerce facilities, database driven sites custom Flash development and animations.
